Project: One Flatbush Avenue

Mixed used residential building in Ft. Greene Brooklyn containing 183 units with amenity space across 123,000 SQ FT and 19 stories. The beautiful mix of brick, steel, and glass bring the typical Brooklyn brownstone into the modern skyscraper era. A retail space located on the first two floors make up another 37,000 for a grand total of 160,000 SQ FT for the entire project.

Duties:
• Was in charge of overseeing the coordination between consultants, the client, and our firm.
• Ensured tight deadlines were met for Department of Building (DOB) filings and client submissions.
• Used, comprehended, and retained NYC Building Code, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the NYC Inclusionary Housing Program knowledge requirements for the design and implementation into floor plan design.
• While the building was under the Construction Design (CD) phase full sets of floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, sections, elevations, schedules, calculations, kitchen, and bathroom layouts were put together.
• Creativity and adaptability is always required as a building is always undergoing revisions based on the clients wants and needs.
