Duties:
• Oversaw Temporary Shop, Certification Extension Request, Location Changes and Additional Building requests from coded Boiler and Pressure Vessel manufacturing shops on the behalf of the ASME.
• Participated in Qualification Review/ Surveys, Oversight, and Internal Audits on both behalf of ASME and the respective Certification Committee being audited.
• Responsible for reviewing and processing Survey Reports and Audit Reports from ASME Consultants for the RTP Program.
• Responsible for reviewing and processing the second pass review of Qualification Review/ Survey Reports (QRR's) and Audit Reports, from ASME, National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIAs) and Jurisdictional Consultants.
• Developed and trained qualified Consultants on a new QRR auditing form to use including new questions, revisions to questions, reformatting. This will allow for more accurate and improved reporting allowing ASME to collect all data necessary for program oversight and control.
• Created discussions and actions at the ASME RTP-1 Standards Committee Level to recommend changes to the standard for better international use and growth of the program.
• Met with potential Certificate Holders and End Users to hold discussions on the need and benefits of ASME Certification.
• Attended trade shows and conferences in order to gauge the potential growth factor for the RTP Certification Program.
• Committee Secretary for the Reinforced Thermoset Plastic (RTP) Certification Committee.
• Backup Committee Secretary for the Committee of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Conformity Assessment.
• Co-Created and Committee Secretary for the RTP-1 Marketing Task Group.
